Melbourne Actors Lab ("LAB", "we", "us"), operated by The Kalos Group Pty Ltd ATF the Kalos Family Trust, ABN 49 328 502 975, respects your privacy. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Information you give us when you enquire, apply or enrol, such as your acting experience, headshot or showreel.
- Payment records. Card details are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Basic website data, such as pages visited, collected by our website platform.
Why we collect it
To respond to enquiries, assess applications, run your classes and lessons, process payments, send you course information, and keep our records. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email to send it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run LAB: Stripe (payments), Wix (website and forms), Kajabi (newsletter and online courses), Google (email), Zoom (online classes) and Zapier (automated booking emails). Some of these providers store data overseas, including in the United States.
Photos and video
We will only use photos or video of you in our marketing with your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time for future use.
Marketing emails
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
Keeping it secure
We store your information with reputable providers and limit access to the people who need it. We keep it only as long as needed for our business and legal records.
Under 18s
If a student is under 18, we collect their information from, and with the consent of, a parent or guardian.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you by emailing us. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
